Hi, I'm Stevie

I've been making jams and chutneys for years, mostly as gifts for family and friends. But after hearing “I’d pay you for this!” one too many times, I decided to take the plunge and start selling my creations. In August 2025, I officially registered as a sole trader and The Winn Jar was born.

Every batch is made by hand in my home kitchen, using the biggest saucepan I own, which means I can only make around 15 to 20 jars at a time. It’s truly small-batch, made with care and no small amount of sticky chaos, but that’s all part of the charm!

Along the way, my husband (a massive chilli fan) inspired me to branch out into hot sauces. He’s my official taste tester and heat advisor, because while I love a bit of spice, he’s the real expert when things get fiery. He's helped me develop sauces that balance flavour with the right amount of kick - enough to make you smile, not sweat!

For me, this isn’t about profit or mass production; it’s about creativity, sharing what I love, and seeing other people enjoy it too. Whether it’s a spoonful of chilli jam on your cheese toastie or a splash of hot sauce on your tacos, I hope every jar brings a bit of warmth and joy to your table.
